Voluntary Dental

Dental insurance is the second most popular benefit after health insurance. All data proves that regular preventative dental care is the best way to hold down major dental costs. During the semi-annual examination, the dentist is also looking for symptoms of other health issues such as diabetes, cancer and other serious conditions. Sirius offers many plans for you to choose from.  We have plans available for groups as small as 2 employees.

Basic dental plans provide employees a lower cost option.  These plans are normally offered to employees who do not currently have dental insurance or have a low plan and a high plan.  Under basic dental plans, endodontic and periodontal procedures are normally covered as major services.  Annual maximums normally do not exceed $1,000.  Reimbursement levels are generally lower out of network.

Traditional dental plans have endodontic and periodontal procedures covered under basic services.  Maximums can rise to $2,000.

All the plans Sirius offers are open network plans and employees may choose any dentist.  Out of pocket expenses are much lower when using a network provider.

Many of our plans come with a $100 lifetime deductible and allow for automatic benefit maximum increases for all employees in years 2 and 3.
